yes yes its yet another boring day at the office,
with me sitting in front of the computer
not doing work,and waiting waiting waiting for time to pass (maybe time will pass faster, if i blog).
so hence hence hence the post! :)
ha. lets get started.
met sheena and vanessa yesterday to go tp together for the retail course interview.
and i think i screwed up big, big time. honestly.
im not modest at all. ha.nevermind, i dont really care/think so much cos its over and whats done is done. :)
maybe what shouldn't be done is also done, so why keep thinking of it and let it bug you..
for the rest of the day? :)
heh. went home then hurried off to work and I TELL YOU.
time passed damn fast ha!
(cos i started work at 1pm LOL)and oh yesterday was ziqi's birthday and we went marina bay to celebrate.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!not so much of celebration la but oh well. we ate steamboat for dinner!
(seriously, marina bay = steamboat OR fly kite HAHA)
and guess what they gave up live prawns! DAMN i dont eat things that are.. alive and kicking (literally).
isnt it like soooo cruel? i mean like you scald the prawn to death and all.
ohmygandhi. and you see the prawn flipping around in pain, slowly succumbing to the heat and dies just because humans like to eat live prawns. how sad. =(
couldnt bear to see it flipping away so we asked the ahneh to take it away.
poor prawnos! guess it ended up in another table anyway.
i ended up debating with ziqi about how cruel it is to eat living things when they are still alive and somehow it drifted to how chickens are killed. (random, i know)
she said the chickenslayer (ok i made up this word) would hook the chicken at the neck and let it bleed to death and thats how they die. is that the case..?
i always thought chickens were first gassed then skinned (feathered? ha) and delivered to wherever? ha.
i eat chicken cos i dont kill the chicken.
different case for the prawns, because i am to choose whether to kill it or not.
FOR ME. if i see (insert animal)/it alive and
moving before my eyes, i wont eat it.

ok this is irrelevent too but bUT BUT take a look at the website and see how KFC kills chickens.
and to think i actually think KFC is nice yummy humane and all! SHIT.
i already stopped eating LJS (nothing much, cos i makes me vomit) and now i think im gonna stop eating KFC chicken. (say yes to the whipped potato maybe)
i'll eat MOS BURGER more often ha cos i like their ebi rice burger!
ok damn, thats prawn burger. i think i cant eat prawns in 1 month or something already cos the image of the flipping live prawns are like TRAPPED in my mind. dang, so much for a steamboat dinner. nevermind i didnt kill the prawns so HA!
if this goes on i think i'll turn vegetarian. but vegetarian food is nice what! i go vegetarian with my mum on every (lunar) 1st and 15th of the month. :) heh heh.

so after that we went shopping (i dont think they enjoyed shopping with me cos they dont go to shops that i go) and all lor. at orchard.
junhui originally wanted to go kinokuniya but ended up theyre closed for the day when we got there.
i think its my fault cos i spent too much time in topshop/forever21. apologies! ha.
by the way people! is buying things at F21/topshop/zara expensive?
was debating with ziqi (again, yes haha) because she said the price i paid for isnt worth the quality of the stuffs i get at F21/topshop. umm?
cos i saw this graffiti screen tee and its only like what, TWENTYEIGHT FREAKINGBUCKS OMGOMG. (but they only have it in M so whatever)
and she said it isnt worth the money cos the material is thinner than nicole richie. (no i made the nicole richie part up)
she added that i (you? we?) can get and similar clothes at bugis. oh really? :)
cheaper it might be, but look at the damn size and quality? funny, cos this is coming out from the mouth of a CHEAPSKATE! (im the cheapskate im referring to)
i buy from these shops because they have size 12/14 unlike the bugis shops that only have m-k ashley sizes. (i have nothing against m-k ashley)

the fact is that 90% of the stores there only stock clothes to fit up to a size 10 and no more.
the other 10%? they might have the size but they (some) charge SKY HIGH prices for something that isnt exactly worth something you're paying for. a puff-sleeves imitation for $19? plus it looks cheap?
id rather top up 10 bucks for one at topshop. "brand-conscious"? maybe.
and times when its size L? open your peepers and LOOK AT THE DAMN THING how "L" is it? *rolls eyes*

this jeans shop opposite Cat's Apparel the streetstyle shop is the best ha!
they have black skinnies at $28 omg lol. and (some) bags and shoes are fabbbbb cos theyre so cheap! i only go there to hunt for my totes and maybe a pair of lovelies or something. :)
